Our Intent: Why We Write

Our writing curriculum is designed to inspire pupils to become effective storytellers, persuasive debaters, and thoughtful reflective writers. Our core intentions are:

• To Inspire a Love of Literacy: We believe that great writers are great readers. We immerse pupils in high-quality texts that act as a springboard for their own creativity.

• To Develop Mastery of Craft: We teach writing as a process, ensuring pupils understand how to plan, draft, edit, and refine their work.
