Key Worker Bookings and Information

Dear Parents

Thank you for your continued support during this period of uncertainty and change.

Late last night clarification was received for school on how they should proceed over the forthcoming weeks/months. The guidance from the Government Is clear:

“ If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading… the fewer children making the journey to school, and the fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals in wider society. Parents whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response include those who work in health and social care and in other key sectors outlined below.

Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. And every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.”

Clarity was also given on the categories of key workers. This can be found at

A list of Qand A’s for parents can be found at

In light of the above we now need to gain a clear picture of who the children are who will require provision over the coming weeks, and on what days this is necessary. As the safest place for your child to be is at home, and to support us with the organisation of staffing, we are asking key workers, who are continuing to attend work, only to use this provision when absolutely necessary. This may be partial days or weeks.

Thank you for the responses that we have received so far. We now need to clarify which children will be in school over the next week.

If your child will be attending in the next two weeks please complete this Google form to confirm the days they will be attending:

If you are classified as a key worker and you can make no other arrangements, please complete as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Further details will then be sent to parents about specific arrangements for Monday.

Yours sincerely
