This week we are going to be using some powerpoint presentations from White Rose Maths to help us with our learning.
This week’s activities are based around ‘The Snail and the Whale’ book by Julia Donaldson (one of our favourites).
You don’t need the story to take part in these activities, however if you would like to read the story first, please feel free to do so, or watch the story by clicking the link below:

Adults- you may wish to watch the powerpoint first in order to gather materials needed, or watch alongside your child and gather the resources together. You can also download the presentation by clicking on the activity link next to the daily powerpoint.
This week the focus is complex patterns, using the snail from the story as inspiration. The presentations also include other problems such as subtraction calculations to help children continue to develop their number skills.
