Dr Stephen Craig trained as a biologist and bio chemist and has 15 years’ experience in marine aquaculture, business and international sales.
He currently owns and runs his own consultancy business, is an international sales agent for a Dutch company and is a director of the Northumberland-based Aquaculture Science Technology and Enterprise Centre (ASTEC). He has been a guest lecturer to the University of Newcastle since 2002 and provided supervision to students to PhD level.
He works within the aquaculture industry both as a scientist and businessman. His jobs involve close workings with local organisations as well as national and international businesses and corporations in the marine engineering, marine science, fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
Stephen joined the governing body of Darras Hall First School in 2014 as a Parent Governor and is Link Governor for Science. He lives in Ponteland and his son Toby joined Reception in September 2013.
